The owners of one of the Barossa Valley’s most well-known Winery’s – Seppeltsfield, have acquired a vineyard in the Riverland.
The Randall Wine Group – owners of Seppeltsfield have acquired a 310-hectare property near Waikerie which includes 86ha of plated vines.
Speaking to In-Daily recently , executive chairman and proprietor of the Randall Wine Group Warren Randall said the Riverland vineyard was acquired to supply the “One Pound Per Acre” brand, one of the fastest-growing Australian wine brands in China.
Mr Randall went on to say it was the first time the company had invested in South Australia’s Riverland and the first time it had bought a vineyard to supply a specific brand.
