Some prominent local roads have featured in a state government regional road improvement funding announcement.
In total the state government will fix over 1000km state-wide with the Karoonda highway listed for shoulder sealing works.
As well the state government will also deliver federal government’s 87.5 million dollar upgrade of the strut highway corridor between Renmark & Gawler.
Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government Stephan Knoll said “The Marshall Government is building better regional roads that will create jobs, improve road safety and help save lives on our country roads,”
Mr Knoll also took aim at the former Labor government saying “For 16 long years Labor neglected SA regions and the Marshall Government is investing in our regions to create jobs, build better roads and clear the backlog left by Labor.”
