While the weather may have been on the cooler side over the weekend two of the region’s major Christmas events saw strong crowds in attendance.
Waikerie’s Lions Club Christmas Pageant on Friday night saw over 25 floats as well as many residents enjoying the Christmas party following.
Saturday’s windy and cool conditions didn’t deter thousands attending one of Loxton’s biggest days – Loxton Light's Up.
A spokesperson from the event said many traders enjoyed a great day as well Santa’s cave once again proved to very popular.
The Season of Christmas events continues in coming weeks with Santa’s cave in Berri open Saturdays, as well the Barmera & Morgan Christmas pageant the weekend following.
Christmas events conclude later in December with the Running of "Renmark's Christmas on the Murray"
