A Riverland man was airlifted to Adelaide yesterday afternoon, following a motorcycle crash in Loxton.
Just after 3pm, Thursday 28 November, police and SA Ambulance crews were called to Bookpurnong Road, just near the Loxton High School, after reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike.
The motorcycle rider, a 34-year-old man from the Riverland was seriously injured in the collision and initially taken to the Berri Hospital, before being airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. The driver of the car was uninjured in the crash.
The stretch of road was closed for some time, as police from the major crash branch attended the scene.
