It’s a busy time for local Member for Chaffey Tim Whetstone, as the Minister is currently doing double ministerial duties.
This week Minister for Primary Industries & Development Tim Whetstone is acting as the minister for Trade, Tourism & Investment – A portfolio looked after by David Ridgeway.
This week In Mr Whetstone’s temporary portfolio the minister announced positive news for the state’s tourism recording an all-time high of $7.6 billion spent by visitors in the state over the past year.
Mr whetstone said “While it is great for South Australia across the board, it is particularly pleasing for the regional tourism operators, who are getting good results from their hard work and realising strong growth,”
Mr Whetstone will handback the portfolio after Friday this week.
