A truck driver has been caught driving under the influence, as police continue to target bad driving under Operation High Impact F5.
On Monday a B-double truck was stopped at a driver testing and vehicle inspection station at Truro.
The driver, a 29-year-old Queensland man tested positive for methamphetamine.
He was issued a driver direction notice not to drive for 24 hours, and he may face further penalties once his sample has been forensically analysed.
Operation High Impact F5 targets all of the Fatal 5 offences of drink and drug driving, speeding, distraction, seat belts and dangerous road users.
