Local Health Provider, Focus One Heath’s popular “in the name of art” course is back next week, open to local residents who are currently unemployed and not enrolled in study.
The program is aimed at improving literacy and numeracy skills and ultimately supporting participants to link into further earning or learning opportunities
A spokesperson from focus one health said that no art experience is needed and is a great way to pick new skills as well as meeting new people.
At the completion of the course participants will obtain a TAFE SA accredited unit from the Foundation Skills Certificate.
