Political activity continues to be active in the region from both major and minor parties.
Today SA senate candidate Tim Burrow from the Australian democrats will be in the region and intends to speak with local residents today.
Senate hopeful Mr Burrow comes from 40 years of employment across the Agribusiness sector.
At the party’s peak in the late 1990’s the Australian democrats had relative support locally, picking up nearly 10% of the vote for the seat of Barker in the 1996 federal election.
This election is the first for the Australian democrats since the party was de-registered in 2015.
The party regained registration earlier this year.
