Two Riverland residents have been charged with serious drug offences following two police searches last week.
Wednesday last week Detectives from the Riverland searched two properties one in Barmera, one in Loveday and found cash, drugs as well as other Drug Paraphenernalia.
Police will allege that during the Barmera search they located five bags containing methylamphetamine.
During the Loveday search its alleged police located a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine and over $20,000 cash along with two cannabis plants.
As a result both a 60 year old man from Barmera and 49yr old woman from Loveday were both charged with serious drug offences, including drug trafficking and were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
