A new initiative from Rural Business Support will launch next week and aims to provide local business with crucial information on withstanding natural disaster events.
The workshops will be offered to small businesses with less than 20 staff in the Riverland next week in Loxton, Renmark, Berri and Waikerie.
A spokesperson from Rural Business Support said the sessions are a great tool with great discussion as well as insights into planning for disasters.
The program is running Statewide and is funded under the Natural Disaster Resilience Program by the South Australian Government as well as Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs.
Businesses don’t need to be from an agricultural Background to attend the meetings and for more information contact Rural Business Support.
