New public toilet facilities have been welcomed in Moorook and are now open, in time for the busy tourism season.
The new facilities feature disability friendly features and replaced the exciting facilities that were not up to current standards.
A spokesperson from the Moorook & Kingston-on-Murray community association said the new facilities were well over due but the group were pleased with the outcome saying they look fantastic.
The project is the result of the association approaching council in 2016 and the work was carried out by Adelaide based construction company the terrain group.
A spokesperson from council said The Moorook riverfront has become quite popular in recent times and the new facilities will complement the recreational area.
