Wine Australia's harvest report has shown the 2022 national crush was 2% under the short term average.
National crush figures were also near on 14% under the 2021 harvest, as well saw a significant drop in value.
While a drop in yields was recorded The report, issued this week showed the Riverland Wine Region still crushed over half-a-million tonnes of wine grapes in the 2022 vintage.
Some red varieties were down over 30% in value, while white varieties locally remained steady, driven by strong pricing for some key varieties.
