A call to close the Yamba Covid testing site will boost capacity at other testing sites, according to SA Health.
The Yamba site was closed yesterday, with a statement from SA Health outlining there is currently no border testing requirements in place for travellers prior to entering SA.
The Yamba site had been used widely last year to support border testing requirements that were in place for freight workers and essential workers.
Testing at the drive through clinic at Berri’s Riverland General Hospital opened at 6am today and will close at midday due to the hot weather.
Tomorrow also sees the site open early and close at midday with bookings not required.
