Riverland Police have caught more drink drivers, as well caught a man travelling at race car speeds in a van on the Sturt Highway.
Just after 7pm Friday a 41-year-old Murraylands woman refused to undergo a breath test in Murtho and was issued a 12-instant loss of licence. Later that night police caught a 38-year-old man in Barmera at 0.130BAC with the driver issued an instant 6 month loss of licence,
Then just before 4pm on Sunday Police caught a 30-year-old Victorian man driving at 171 KP/H in a Mercedes Van on the Sturt Highway at stockyard plain.
The driver, who missed the memo he wasn’t in the Bathurst 1000 was issued fines totalling $1814 and had his licence taken for 6 months.
