Despite being open to the public for some time Renmark’s Taylor Riverfront precinct has been officially opened.
The over $3.8M project supported by all levels of Government was officially opened last Friday with Federal member Tony Pasin on hand for the ceremony.
Mr Pasin said “The Precinct provides a safe and enjoyable space for people of all ages to enjoy, enhancing the region's tourism appeal thereby delivering economic benefits to local businesses and the community more broadly.”
The Federal MP added “This project delivered economic benefits through the use of local suppliers and contractors and delivered important employment outcomes, supporting six jobs during the construction.”
The project was funded by all levels of Government, Federal Government ($1,394,385), South Australian Government ($548,000) and Renmark-Paringa Council ($1,942,816).
