Local farmers are set to benefit to improve local natural resource management and agricultural landscapes.
Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management David Littleproud said the extra funding would enable farmer groups and agricultural organisations to adapt their practices and enhance their farming systems to increase drought resilience.
Local Federal Member for Barker, Tony Pasin said the funding was very welcome.
Locally the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board received $197,000 under the program.
