DRINK DRIVER CAUGHT IN WAIKERIE

A man from Truro man be looking for a ride home, after he was caught drink driving over five times the legal limit in Waikerie.

Around 9pm Tuesday police stopped the 49-year-old driver from Truro on Coombe Terrace and allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.259.

The man was reported for drink driving and issued a 12 month instant loss of licence.

His car was impounded for 28 days.
