Two Riverland men have been arrested and charged with cultivating cannabis, following police locating a cannabis plantation in a remote Riverland area.  

Tuesday this week police located 34 cannabis plates growing on “Little Hunchee Island” at Murtho, with Police saying the crop had a sophisticated watering system.

Two men are due to face court next month of the find, one being a 44 year old Renmark West man, the other a 34-year-old from Renmark North.

Police remind the public that any information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence.
