Local residents who utilise REX Airlines from the nearby Mildura Airport have been reassured of tickets affected by COVID-19.
Rex General Manager of Network Strategy Warrick Lodge said, “Rex remains committed to a full refund of all tickets affected by any flight cancellation or rescheduling.
Rex also reiterated further they will offering a full refund of tickets for passengers who are directly affected by current and future COVID-related border closures or travelling restrictions.
While the Riverland hasn’t had a dedicated air service in almost 20 years, many locals have utilised both REX and other airlines operating from Mildura for many years.
