A 20 year Sunlands man was reported for operating a boat while under the influence of alcohol.
As well as the man returning a blood alcohol reading of .063 Subsequent checks revealed the man did not have a licence to operate the vessel.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Waikerie Magistrates Court at a later date.
As well as misbehaving boat drivers Riverland police have also been busy on the roads.
Just after midnight, Saturday an 18-year-old Lyrup man was reported for aggravated driving without due care, drink driving and breaching a condition of his P2 drivers licence.
It’s alleged that the man was driving on Gurra Road in Lyrup when he lost control of his vehicle and left the road ending up in scrub.
Police attended the incident and breath tested the man where he allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.158. The man was further issued with a 12 month instant loss of licence and his vehicle will be impounded.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
Also A 26-year-old Renmark man was reported for driving while disqualified and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
Police stopped the man driving on Sunday night in Renmark where checks revealed his licence had been disqualified. Further checks on the vehicle showed that his vehicle had not been registered since 2014.
