The very successful SA carp frenzy is just over a month away with eager fishermen and women gearing up for a big event.

The event that started in 2013 at Lake Bonney in Barmera has seen just shy of 3000 competitors take part.

25,000 carp have been taken out of the lake since the events inception and this year’s event is set for March 17th and is expected to see over 500 competitors take part.

Money raised from the event has gone back into local projects as well as donations made to various local organisations.

More information can be found online via the SA carp Frenzy on Facebook.
