Francis Fights to Play Footy Back Home

Saints/Bombers 3
Riverland AFL product and current Essendon defender, Aaron Francis, is looking to return to his home turf as the AFL trade season gets underway.

The 20 year old has played 5 AFL games and is contracted to the Bombers for another two years but has requested to be traded to either the Crows or Port Adelaide for next season.

Essendon will have until next Thursday to sign off on a deal with one of the SA clubs, however speculation is that he will stay in Melbourne for the duration of his contract.
