Grains Research Panel Heads to The Riverland

The Grains Research and Development Corporation’s Southern Regional Panel is preparing to embark on its annual spring tour to assess the impact of cropping challenges and the progress of key research investments.

There will be several opportunities to meet with the panel across the Riverland including at the Loxton frost trial site on Paruna Rd, the Mallee Sustainable Farming and SARDI trial site on Alawoona Rd and a property on Border Road in Pinaroo. All panel visits will take place next Monday the 18th of September.

During the visits, panel members and GRDC regional and national staff will meet with growers, researchers, agronomists, advisers and other grains industry specialists to gain a greater understanding of important issues facing growers and identify future research, development and extension priorities
