Wine giant confirms local commitment

As significant concern continues in the wine industry, the owners of the largest Riverland winery have outlined their local commitment.

National media articles relating to Accolade Wines, owners of Berri Estates is understood to have been of concern to some local growers.

Media surrounding Accolade’s recent sale of the ‘House Of Arras’ & ‘Bay of Fires’ winery in Tasmania was the latest, however via a short statement an Accolade Wines spokesperson said “Accolade Wines remains fully committed to the future of the Berri Estates winery.”

While talks continue, wine tariffs placed on Australian wine entering the Chinese market remain in place for now, seeing a once large export market all but vanish.
