The first of two local wine industry seminars will be held tonight by Riverland Wine in Barmera.
Titled ‘let’s plan a way forward’ the workshop style events will feature speakers from Wine Australia, Murray Valley Winegrowers, SARDI & Riverland Business Support.
The events come at a time when the local industry faces challenges, with demand for commercial wine styles such as those produced in the Riverland dropping in recent times.

Just this week major Australian wine producer Treasury Wine Estates announced plans to further exit the commercial wine market.
