A change is on the way to see the end of fatiguing local paramedic rosters.
Loxton and Barmera Ambulance stations currently operate with 96 hour on-call shifts, something set to be scrapped by 2026.
This follows lobbying between the Ambulance Employees Association and the State Government.

The move has been welcomed by many, with the change seeing an additional 12 paramedics set to be employed in the region.
