It’s still unclear if any Riverland schools will close on Friday, as strike action draws closer.
Intense meetings between the Education Union and State government commenced yesterday, with it hoped by many an agreement can be made prior to Friday.
One of the demands is a pay increase of between 5.5% and 8.6%, as well a reduction in face to face teaching time.
