New overtaking lanes on the Sturt Highway are said to improve safety and freight efficiency.
Last week the Department of infrastructure and Transport (DIT) welcomed the new overtaking lanes which have been under construction around 20KM east of Truro.
New rest areas nearby, together with further road repairs also form part of the over $87M Sturt Highway Corridor Upgrade.

Further to safety and efficiency, DIT say the upgrades will help support regional economic growth.
