The driver of a speeding Subaru on the Sturt Highway is now nearly $2000 out of pocket.
He was stopped west of Blanchetown Monday after being clocked at 171KP/H, well over the 110KP/H limit.
The 40-year-old male driver from Para Hills lost his licence on the spot for 12 months, and was handed fines totaling $1850.
