A truck fire at Swan Reach has caused an estimated $250,000 damage.
Late last week fire crews were called to the Stott Highway when a truck carrying fertiliser and other items caught alight.
This saw a small grass fire ignited, with the truck driver able to safely remove the prime mover and front trailer from the rear trailer before the fire could spread.

Around 25 fire fighters controlled the fire with the cause at this stage not yet known.
