Over 200 keen rowers were treated to near perfect conditions Saturday, as they took on the now iconic Wharf to Woolshed long row in Renmark.

The 36KM rowing event upstream has been a recent endeavour by the Renmark Rowing Club, with this year seeing the South Australian Governor Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC take part.

Governor Adamson is no stranger to rowing, being the current patron of Rowing SA and was the first female captain of the Adelaide University Rowing Club.
