It’s been revealed failed lease negotiations were one factor behind Morgan’s travelling Nurse Practitioner stopping regular services.
The towns Medical Centre was under a peppercorn lease arrangement, with council staff responsible for appointment bookings.
Recently the Mid Murray Council made moves to formalise the lease – something said to be over $7000 per year.

Last night the Morgan Community Development & Tourist Association (MCDTA) held a community meeting calling for the support of the community to resolve the issue to hopefully see health services return.
