After first mentioned in 2021, Loxton’s Town to River project will take a big step forward next week.
The work aims to improve access and inclusion, with the construction of a staircase and lookout area, landscaping and lighting, and additional ramps for prams part of the project.
River Murray flooding, combined with difficulty in securing a contractor saw the work differed, however this week temporary fencing was set up, seeing council, via social media say that contractors would be on site from next week.

It’s expected the work will be completed by May this year.
