The latest Riverland fruit fly update from PIRSA has shown no new outbreaks have been detected in the last two weeks.
Of the 51 outbreak zones, 23 have now not had a detection in the past 12 weeks.
While the news is pleasing, PIRSA’s Incident Controller of the Fruit Fly Emergency Response, Jason Size said it was crucial visitors respect food movement restrictions.

Fines of $414 are applicable for those caught with restricted fruit and vegetables at the Yamba quarantine station or random roadblocks.
