Riverland locals can now have their say on draft framework to return water to the Murray Darling river system.
This forms part of the Water Amendment ‘Restoring Our Rivers’ Act which passed Federal parliament last year, seeing further water now needing to be returned to the system.
The framework has three elements being the Resilient Rivers Program, Voluntary Water Purchase Program & the Sustainable Communities Program.

Consultation is due to close on the 4th of March.
