One person has died, together with five people sustaining injures following a two car collision in Barmera.
Around 7.30pm Monday, Police were called to the Goyder Highway following reports of a head-on collision between a car and van.
The driver of the car, an elderly man sadly died at the scene, while the driver of the van, a 29-year-old Berri man was uninjured.
Five male passengers from the van were taken to hospital for treatment, all sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
The Goyder Highway was closed overnight between the Sturt Highway and Morgan Road as Police from Major Crash attended the scene.
Investigations will continue today.
