A crowd of over 3000 people packed into the Waikerie oval Saturday to see the Barmera-Monash Roos win their first A grade premiership since 2012.
The roos got the early jump on the Renmark Rovers who were going for 4 straight RFL premierships.
Despite the Roos not scoring a goal for 2 quarters, the defensive pressure was high enough to see the Renmark Rovers unable to catch up.

Final score being Barmera-Monash 5.5-35 to Renmark 3.8-26.
It was a big day for the Roos who also picked up the under 13’s and under 18’s premierships.
Waikerie got the win in the Reserves, while Renmark won the under 15’s.
