While maybe not a surprise for many, River Murray irrigators will open the 2023-24 financial year with 100 water allocations.
Flooding last year sees storage’s through the system remaining strong, currently now 26% over the long term average for the end of June.
This does mean however private carryover won’t be available due to the opening allocation being greater than 50%.
