The iconic Karoonda Farm Fair and Show will sadly be absent in 2026, as volunteer numbers hit very low levels.
A committee was unable to be formed this year with the event not having a President, Treasurer or Secretary.
This saw remaining members having no choice but to put the 40-year-old event into caretaker mode.

There’s some small hope that a smaller, scaled back event could still be held, however any event at this stage is still very much in question.
