Riverland Drivers Caught In The Act

Two drivers tested positive to drugs in roadside tests in the Riverland on Wednesday this week.

Just after 9am, a 40-year-old Berri man was pulled over for a mobile driver test on the Sturt Highway, Renmark and tested positive to methamphetamine and cannabis.

Around 3.30pm, a 37-year-old Loxton man was stopped on the Kingston Road, New Residence and tested positive for methamphetamine.

Both samples will now be sent for further testing and both drivers were issued with 24 hour driver direction notices.
