Riverland schools will share in a $645K State Government boost for maintenance and general upgrades.

Minister for Education Minister, Susan Close, announced last week that the State Government will invest almost $13 million into new flooring, painting and paving for 110 schools across South Australia, with Barmera, Loxton, Monash, Renmark and Waikerie primary schools receiving funding.

The state governments says that school pride is an essential component in building a successful school community and a strong sense of ownership.

The schools to receive funding were identified by the Department for Education and Child Development.
